There are two forms of gambling available, slot machines and a variant of BlackJack, CalicoJack. There are two tables for CalicoJack, low stakes (100) to the left and high stakes (1,000) to the right. A shady individual in the top-right of the room, near the machine, offers to sell a Statue of Endless Fortune for 1,000,000g. Step 1: Bet 10 until you win to find the beginning of the pattern. The spins will alternate between win and lose for 3-4 cycles (including the first one used to find the pattern). Step 2: Now that you have found the pattern, alternate bets, starting with 10. You should win on every bet of 100 for the next few cycles. Stardew Valley starts you off with a quest to get to know everyone, and while it isn’t a priority. You can water your crops in a 1x3 pattern for no additional water or energy cost.

I received Stardew Valley for my birthday and it is really all I can think about right now. I'm playing at a very slow pace since I only get about an hour of playtime a day (after Emmy is asleep and the house is clean etc etc). But I can feel that I am so very, very addicted. After all, I loved the heck out of Harvest Moon 64 and Animal Crossing--so this is right up my alley.
In the game there are cute magical creatures known as the Junimo that you can help and in return they help you! They are quiet, bouncy little things that are a bit shy.

I made the green one first and it came out not quite the shape I wanted. I redid it with a thicker, yellow yarn and tweaked my pattern. If yours is still looking a little squatty, try adding more sc only rows in the middle.
