The area also boasts a shopping centre with ample restaurants which are perfect for lunchtime. On the outskirts you will find a golf course filled with trees, gardens and lakes which creates very lovely natural surroundings.
Another recommended area to stay in is the Escazú area. This is where San José´s rich and affluent live and is a pleasant and safe place to stay, although it does have limited accommodation options.
